Paris Travel Diary Day 2

Here is day two with a bunch of more pictures. First we went to the Marché aux Puces flea market. Which I heard a lot before. But when you walk around this area with over 3000 stands its just incredible. Bought to much. Wanted to buy much more. Got me some vintage Justin leather boots from the 60s and some old magazines.
Also ate something in a nice restaurant. But beware „Encornet“ looks pretty like „Entrecôte“ when you read the card pretty quickly.

Rainy rainy cold days here in Paris. So we thought a museum would be nice. Went to the European Photography Museum. Left everything in the locker. So just a few iPhone pics.

Decided to see the Eiffel Tower at night. Love the fog up there. Was a really different view this time. Went to Le Bulette for some wine and food. If you watched every Munchies video on Youtube, this place should look familiar!

Paris Travel Diary Day 1

Since we didn’t had a really big summer holiday. We decided to do another short trip before the year ends. And since Colette is closing. We thought Paris would be nice, haha!

So here we are. Cold but still the most beautiful city in the world!

Arrived around 2pm. Ate in a local farmers market and went some shopping afterwards.

Another meal and straight to bed. See you tomorrow!

YES/NO

I tried to visualize the two most simple answers in the world. Since these head movements are not bound to one language. Nearly everbody will understand these significant signs of either yes or no. This not for any project yet. But this came to my mind while listening to Tyler the Creator. Still dont know why tho, haha. But I try to realise these ideas even if they dont have a purpose right now.

Ulm – Basquiat and Beer

I’ve wanted to go to Ulm for a long time now! Finally had the time and our good friend Ben moved there some weeks ago. So we could also visit him. Thanks again for everything!

Visited the Hochschule für Gestaltung. If you don’t know anything about it, read this wiki article! Architecture by Max Bill and staff like Otl Aicher made this a very special place to learn everything about design, fonts, photography etc. Also the famous Ulm-Chair was designed right here. In 1968 the school/university closed but its legacy is still alive. Incredible place!

On our second day we went to the Weishaupt Gallery and the City Museum which also had a little HfG part which we wanted to see. As you can see the gallery had some rare rare pricey art. Incredible private collection which isn’t usual at all! Thanks Ulm! See you again!

Staatsgalerie Stuttgart

Wanted to visit the Staatsgalerie for a long time now. I dont know how many times I’ve been to Stuttgart and never went there. Its like one hour away. But as always. You don’t want stuff that is in front of you. „Homeblindness“.

All pictures with the trusty Leica M8. Also, we met Robin and Manu which was really nice! Cheers guys!
